My love for this breed started with our first Dachshund Callie...

 

When Callie passed we knew we just couldn't live without another Dachshund in our house, so the hunt began for a new family member, but where? With no breeders in sight, and I certainly didn't want to go to the petstore. This drove us to decide that there was a need for a quality breeder in our area, so we worked hard to start searching for the right dogs for our small in home family breeding program. I knew that there were so many people that love or are soon to fall in love with this breed like I did, and so many more places to buy a dog from (petstore, backyard breeders, classified ads, etc) but not every place believed in the quality we felt people deserved. We can assure with our puppies you will know they grew up in a loving well rounded home surrounded by love, family, children and adults as well as other dogs. This was so important to us but our wish to provide quality didn’t stop there. We started researching health testing to help ensure our dogs were the best quality would could manage. Our dogs are tested for PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy), and we are working hard to start testing for other Dachshund prone issues.

 

When you get a puppy from us, you take a piece of our heart and it doesn’t end there for us. We are here for the life time of the puppy and don’t hesitate to be there for questions or just sharing pictures of happy loving moments with your new member of the family. We are ever changing our program to ensure we are providing the best possible environment for our babies. We have started looking into the Puppy Culture Program. We have seen the amazing effect it has had for other breeders and I would love to adapt it into everything we already do.
